This cup is handcrafted by artisans using a pulling technique, shaped like a bell with a sunflower-like rim. The sacred Buddhist lotus is delicately carved onto the body of the cup using the half-scallop carving technique. It is then coated with a celadon glaze, originally created in Jingdezhen during the Northern Song Dynasty, which fully showcases the porcelain’s smooth, jade-like warmth and texture.
