The auspicious cloud pattern, symbolizing good fortune in Buddhism, is delicately carved onto the cup?s surface using the half-scallop clay technique. It is finished with a celadon glaze, developed in Jingdezhen during the Northern Song Dynasty, fully showcasing the porcelain’s smooth, jade-like qualities.
